Predator Ireland

march wasnt a great month with the weather and we only recorded 5 irish specimen fish for that month.march also seen me in rotterdam at the visma (dutch specimen awards) and i have to say a big well done to all involved including a 4th dutch record from red bay for a cuckoo wrass caught by pieter kleijn well done pieter,but the big news this month is the arrival of the NEW PREDATOR wich is being built by red bay boats again and would like to say a big big thanks to tom,gary and all the team for their patience as this is a first of a kind for them and i have to say what a job this machine is.she is 10 meters with an island wheel house witch allowes the anglers to fish 23.5 meters all the way around her she will carry 36 rod holders with a onboard toilet as well sea trials will start next week and she will be in service on the 10th april and will be able to fish 10 anglers in comfort.

february was the worst i can remember for the last 30 years east winds played havoc on the east coast with very little oppertunities to get the boat off the trailer never mind offshore.As usual the predator bus went to dublin to collect their specimen awards and a good day was had by all,hope to have better news next month.
