well where do i start july was a tremendous month for big big fish with predator recording 27 irish specimen fish 6 diffrent species 2 new irish records 238lb common skate for nigel bell from portadown the spurdog record was smashed yet again for the 3rd time in 3 years and that fell to connor Mcneill also from portadown, the oldest man ever to boat a common skate dave harvey from somerset 72 years old so well done to all of yous.a lot of very big skate were landed during the month of july including 3 over the magical 200lb mark.in my april update i stated that later in the year i would be hunting the elusive porbeagle shark and on the 29th and 30th i moved way offshore to hunt a place ide been looking at for a while and we werent dissapointed when we had 6 of them 3 released at the side of the boat and this one i just had to have my picture taken with,after a quick photo she was released unharmed to fight another day.i have more shark trips planned so lets hope the weather plays ball.
