Porbeagle Fishing Footage
2010 was the biggest and best year for predator charters so far with the launch of the new boat on april 17th enabling us to reach even greater distances than before and the range of operation is 100km south 100km west and 60km north.a all time record was achieved in the irish specimen count with us recording a total of 162 specimens for the year including 12 diffrent species,66% of the dutch specimens came from red bay and 50% of the uk specimens also came from red bay including a new irish record spurdog for connor Mcneill and a cracking 238lb common skate for nigel bell both from portadown.porbeagle sharks were also present in good numbers with severel fish over the 200lb mark with a few bigger fish lost after titanic struggles.congradulations to jock leslie,nigel bell both portadown,peter Mcfarland ballyclare and cornelies plomp from holland who ahceived their silver tie pins from the central fisheries board after acheiving a total of ten irish specimen fish.this year we will again be targeting these sharks along with other species and with another new specimen club up and running hopefully they will get their chance for some cracking sport.all thats left for me to do is to wish all my clients in ireland,uk,and of course the dutch contingent a very happy new year and tight lines to all.
